Lost my best hunting buddy!

RIP little friend!

Lost my 14yr 6mo old Treeing Fiest... COCO.
SUPERLATIVE squirrel dog till she got old, deaf, and half blind due to advanced age.
Even 2mos ago she helped track a doe I shot that ran but no blood trail.
Even yesterday early afternoon, she was “guarding” an Amazon package left on the front porch! Late afternoon, my wife discovered her unresponsive in her “kennel” in the house. She was already gone. She’d been on heart medicine for years. Had a heart murmur. Young vet said 8yrs ago she “might “ make to 8!.

She had a good home and someone who loved her all her life. Of course she gave her human family love also. I am very sorry for your loss.
