I went to Roam this morning and just happened to see this guy wedged into the chainlink and no way to get himself loose.

I had to go around to the other side of the fence and pull him back through. He had his front legs out at first keeping me from pulling him back out so I started tapping on his shell and he turtled up and I was able to get him loose.

On the way to the other side of the fence I jumped up 3 or 4 does

If that's the standard mesh for chain link fencing, that's about as small a box turtle I've seen. They are beautiful gentle creatures and the small ones stay hidden in the leaf loam. I've found their shells between the rails of train tracks where they get trapped and sun stroked. Gil
