Minor Logjam on the Crick

Did a kayak run today with 6 other compadres. We caught some fish but not near enough for the amount of work it took to get over two logjams, low water, numerous exposed rocks and a heckuva takeout 45 degrees straight up for about 150 feet. still good to get out there though.
Personally caught 3 shoalies, 1 spot that I accidentally threw on the bank when I went to put it back into the water and a pretty big Turtle.

That was a beaut! I was too far downstream to see it in person. Glad you got a good pic!

“Exhausting” - lol. Definitely one I won’t forget anytime soon for a few reasons.

I would have ate the turtle if it's not an Alligator Snapper.

I set lines for big turtle on purpose.
Haven't been able to go at all this year.
