Went to bed at freakin' 9:30pm....woke up at 1:30am....couldn't sleep.
Gave up on sleep....grabbed the Jack Carr novel off the nightstand....the Jack Carr mas excellente novel, as all of his are....read a couple hours....finally slept until 7:30am....crazy late.
Got outa bed feeling more tired than I was going to bed.....schlumped to the coffee maker....listening to bones snappin', popping & crackling on the way downstairs.
A thought cut through the brain fog...."Dude, today is yer only day off work this week. Quit griping and do something fun with it.".
So.....instead of pouring into my normal favorite 20oz coffee mug and then taking it to the den to sip.....I grabbed a larger beer stein from my drankin daze.
Poured the 20oz of dark goodness in there...a couple Splenda packs and then 1/2 a mocha latte low carb protein shake.....no bother with stirring.
Three big gulps of it had me feeling like a half-hearted pull on a starter cord and my engine didn't even reach a sputter.
GRRRRR....I need a real deal no kiddin kick start......
Grabbed my cellphone and fingered the commands that turned off the silence.......
Kitchen blue toof speaker on & humming....way loud.

Knocked off the rest of that first dose....then poured a typical mug for sipping while I conjured up something to turn of hongry.
Mission accomplished.
Awoken.
Good vibe achieved.
Fueled for the days adventures.
