I wear the brown duck Liberty overalls myself.Personally I like Carhartt overalls with whatever colored shirt. I find them to be the toughest for briers. Tan is the color I wear.
I wear carhartt pants to work so I've kilt a bunch of animals in them. I got the blackovis merino wool shirts in olive crab. I've found this combo to work great. When it gets cold nuff I'll break out my Asbell wool pullover in the woodland magic plaid?. And I like the old military pattern.
I don’t care about the pattern, as long as it’s expensive so I can flex on the poor peasants in the woods. Wait... I actually hope I don’t see anybody...
I have a lot of Firstlite gear, all my orange is Natural Gear blaze camo. I feel like it’s kinda pointless covering 1/3 of your camo with a bright solid, so I go for blaze orange with a black pattern on it. Not sure how effective camo actually is on deer, being still and avoiding blue or anything that reflects UV is the main thing. My camo double duties in turkey season, so I try to get stuff that works sitting against a tree in the spring too. Yea, my stuff is expensive, but I make good money so it isn’t an issue. Plus the more I spend on hunting stuff the less my wife can spend on tacky house decor. She wants a pool too, so I’m hoping I can spend enough on overpriced **** that we can never afford to dig a money pit in the ground that we have to maintain forever.
I’m gonna start offering life coaching services for anyone interested. It won’t be cheap, but you’ll get what you pay for...well, almost. All GON memebers get .05% discount. Any takers?Man that;s some solid reasoning right there - Spend more on hunting so wife doesn't spend on house decor...
