Mushroom I D ?

First I’m not gonna eat them quite yet . But I’ve been in the woods my entire life and have always seen them and been interested . Y’all have really inspired me to learn a few. I’d really like to find someone in my area to teach me a little, . I think I know the answer but what would you expert’s say . I’ll tell y’all if I was right or not . Thanks

I'm definitely not a mushroom expert. I'm just trying to learn a few myself. With that being said, I don't know what kind of mushroom that is. I don't think it is a chanterelle which is what I thought it might be at first glance. The underside don't look right for a chant.
