Does anyone know where I can buy Muzzleloader Ammuntion and supplies?????

I shoot "SABOTS" in my Encore......I'm currently shootin' 240 grains.......

I'm thinkin' of steppin' down to 200 grains, cause I'm gonna shoot 150 grains of powder this year......(3 pellets of "777")......

I need to experiment with them to see how they will shoot, but I can't find them anywhere.....I know they are available, cause a buddy of mine bought some in Stockbridge.....But, they are out and I can't find them anywhere else.....

HELP!!!!!!!!!

Are you wanting to stay with one particular brand? I did a search for "200 Gr sabots" and found all kinds on the internet including cabelas.

You may want to check out the Precision Bullet web site. http://www.prbullet.com/index.htm

I bought some of their QT 195 gr .40 cal bullets and they shoot under 1" @ 100 yds from a "cheap" Traditions Buckhunter .50 cal ML.

See ballistics at: Polymer Tip bullet link: http://www.prbullet.com/pt.htm

Their 200 gr Dead Center .40 cal bullet and ballistics charts:
http://www.prbullet.com/pts.htm

Here is a special article on their load development and accurizing of a TC Encore w/ .50 cal ML barrel. It's very interesting and educational reading for TC Encore owners who want to "fine tune" their ML rifle.
http://www.prbullet.com/encore.htm

Their sabots (the plastic part) is sized to a particular brand and caliber ML. Read the sidebar article links for more interesting info on Precision Bullets testing and load developments for different ML rifles, including the Savage ML-10's.

:D  :)

you can save mucho money by buying bulk sabot and using pistol hunting bullets. I bought 200 sabot ans 200 hornady XTP 180 gr. for undert the cost of 3-4 10 packs of pre made loads.
