Only fresh straight out of the ocean is worth eating but well worth it.
Twice oily as a king Mack. Three four times really. It still eat it fresh and use the other half as bait.

They make great fish dip. Besides that, if we keep any, we give them to some Yankees we know.

Totally grew up eating them. Learned how to fish by catching them. The small ones are the tastiest. Pound for pound, they’re a strong fighting fish.

NC is cutting everything back. We should feel lucky we have better rules and size regulations. When you can even keep flounder, they have to be 17 inches i think now. drum are like 1 a day 18-24 inches, trout are 5 i think if i remember right. I was happy when I moved here and see you could keep more and they didn't have to be as big

yeah i remember filling coolers up of spot and croakers back in the 90s. ive yet to even catch on here tho.
