It's a gradient color scheme meant to show the trend across the state, you use the table or click on a county for the specific date.

I understand it's s gradient color scheme but it's hard to use the table when the colors are so similar. Not try to be a smart aleck or knock on your work. It's just hard to tell what county matches up to light blue, lighter blue, green blue, greenish blue, blueish green, etc.

Are you referring to the October GON issue? If so, that wasn't a usable format of the map but rather a teaser for the online version and the November issue of GON. The map wasn't meant to be presented without the complete county list. If that's the case, I can certainly understand your issues with it.
