I really haven’t figured out yet. Ammo is scarce around these parts. Do you recommend anything?Nice rifle! What load are you planning on shooting for hogs?

I`d shoot solids in a brand that your rifle patterns best.
Alright I’ll check it out. Thank yaCCI 40 grain TMJ is a pretty popular load. Only hog that I’ve killed with a 22 mag has been with Winchester 40 grain JHP.
I’ll have to check that out too!I have used and like Fiocchi 40gr JSP ammo!
Its designed around the Savage A22 but I don’t think that would be too much of an issue right?Anyone ever use CCI A22 Gamepoints? I can get my hands on that currently
That’s all I could find at Big Woods Goods. Picked up a box of them. They shoot great in my ruger american. Haven’t harvested any game with them yet though.
I gotcha, i’ll be out there huntin emI shoot normal CCI 40gr game points in my Winchester 225. They run great, the A22s should do fine. I LOVE chasing pigs with that thing. There’s just something super satisfying about running that lever for multiple shots on a group of pigs. One thing I noticed with my cheap 225 is you have to work the action with some assertiveness for proper feeding. I would guess the Henry may be slightly more forgiving.
