New Key Largo Center Console Progress PICS

I ordered a new Key Largo 2000CC which is a new boat being offered this year. I bought the boat from Boat n RV in Americus, GA. They have been great to deal with and extremely helpful. The really nice part is the fact the factory where they are building my boat is just down the street from there store.

The specs I have on the boat are:

Centerline: 19'8"
Max beam: 8'3"
Max fuel cap: 75gal
Deadrise: 18 degrees
Weight: 2600lb
Transom: 25"
Draft motor up: 16"
Draft motor down: 30"

They just sent progress pics on the boat. They have finished the hull and roughed in all the electronics. Here are the latest pics:

They are right here in GA, so I figured I am supporting our local economy. They said they would send progress pics as they go along.

The boats made in Americus at this plant are the Caravelle, Interceptor, Razor and Key Largo: http://www.caravelleboatgroup.com/ The boat I am having built (2000CC) is not on the Key Largo site yet, but they are adding it soon.

I did get a factory tour and got to see their manufacturing process. It was a very impressive operation and they take a lot of care in their boat builds.

Few more pics on my boat build. We had a slight delay since there was a particular seat style I wanted. But it will be another month or so before it arrives. I decided to go ahead with their standard bench with removable backrest. With this change we expect to get the boat next week.

Looking forward to a new boat before summer ends!!

That's the seat I want. My current seat is the cooler style. I'm always standing while driving so I'd like to upgrade to the high bench seat. Your boats coming along nicely.

I prefer the sitting bench over standing for all day trips. It's nice to choose whether you want to stand or sit down. Plus this one even has a foot rest that you can lower or raise.
