Not ur usual how big’s this bear!?!?

Size 12 boot for reference. Stumbled across this in AK while DIY moose hunting. Was supposed to be a black bear area, but this is griz scat. Yes it made me pucker!

It was black bear country with 5 bear limit. The abundance of black bear would suggest griz aren’t around, but this huge pile of scat made me wonder. There were rose hips and some multiple types of low berries they were feeding on. Saw lots of scat, but nothing like this. I was hugging & sleeping w/ my 10mm Glock once I saw this. PS: Locals confirm this is griz scat.

several years ago hunting the interior had a big black on a hillside eating blueberries. **** the size of a cow patty that was as purple as Barney the dinosaur.
