Any idea how the crappie are doing?
You can at least keep them, unlike the Catch & Release Only on the bass.

Impressive size for the age of the fish, they got something going right in that body of water. I wonder if those bass have some FL genetics in them?

They do. Per WRD they told me personally they have 75 to 80% Florida allele genes. They are also focusing on an all female stocking program. They feed them like crazy too. 30 to 1 forage to bass ratio.

naw they wouldnt cause them are the hardest to catch fish I have ever seen. If a person caught 3 bass it would be a good day. Most leave having caught 0

That's because they have so much natural forage, your bait probably dances infront of multiple trophies every time you fish it, but they are just not hungry. Imagine how fat people would be if they were told to live in a fulltime 24hr buffet with any food you wanted at anytime? We would all be fat lazy piles of crap rarely doing anything for work.

If you can find some large golden shiners you will catch a few big bass per trip there. I have seen it done.
