Second one got me the next day. Felt fatigued and a bit sick for around 12 hours. Mowed 4 lawns and put down 30 bales of pine straw to try to sweat it out.

Didn’t work.

Felt great the next day.

Same for me. First shot was nothing but the day after the second shot, I had what felt like flu-ish symptoms all day. The next day I was back to normal, though.

...just joking, seriously.
Gotta do what ya gotta do . It will take a team of wild horses to force an experimental gene therapy into me. Good luck.
It's not knocking anyone's decisions or hesitancy against a first of its kind experimental MRNA vaccine. I didn't want to take one either.
But for what it's worth the J and J vaccine is not that... it is the old style vaccine based off the Ebola vaccine that was used when we had that scare.
I decided early on if I had to get it that would be the one for me.. I got it because I'm old and fat and constantly have slightly low oxygen. I don't want any part of what is currently going on with a couple of my friends in the hospital right now.
In fact, I took the Russian version, and every since then, YA chuvstvuyu sebya prekrasno.

TCU Go Frawgs !
My hvac man's parents got the vaccine.

Both got china virus later. His mom died.

My FIL got the vaccine and now has mystery health issue and cognitive issues that came on within 3 weeks.

No politics here. I'll let y'all test monkeys work the bugs out.

We don't have any REAL FACTS because the liberals have weaponized the entire chong flu situation.

From what I've read, the bottom line is that people with pre existing conditions and people over 75-80 should have stayed home isolated. Everyone else should have(and I did) carry on.

Does it make sense that liberals want everyone tested, masked, isolated and vaccinated yet they let wets into the country and them bus them all over with none of the above? I smell a rat.

Also for what its worth, novavax is getting close to bringing a traditional vax themselves. So if folks are reading this there is more non MRNA options coming soon.

Went to my doctor appointment a couple weeks ago he really talked good about it and said glad I took it! Do what you want y’all are adults but I have a good friend and my sister that are scared of the vaccine scared of the virus so they just sit at home and hide from everyone! I don’t want to live like that! But since I had vaccine my phone tells me where I parked my truck? Haha coincidence?

Just ask any VA doctor if everyone should get the shot. I don't think you will be surprised at the answer you will get.

Got both shots back in April & May for the 2nd, my arm was a lil sore after 2nd, but not near as bad as 2nd shingles shot.. Got the Pfizer , no big deal, had a bad taste in mouth & nose for 3 days that was it.. never worked one day from home and went out all the time , sometimes w/out mask, never caught covid, did avoid getting in peoples grill and just had some common sense, been real fortunate as no family members got real sick from covid, the 3 that got it were all young and none got that sick

Turned 70 last Sunday and went to the mountains and WANDERED around but then couldn't find my truck :hair: But like Gbr I took out my phone did the Google tracking map then typed in my vax number and bingo there I was and there was my truck :fine: now if I could just remember where I put my keys I could go home:bounce:

No politics here. Just facts. I will not inject something in to my body and be a lab test rat. Everyone says they are fine from taking the shot now. My question is what shows up a year from now, 3 years from now? What about your children's unborn children? No one know long term what these shots do because they did not go through proper trials. It was an emergency release which skipped standard clinical trials mandated by our government. Next it will be an ad on tv just like Roundup or Zantac. If you took the vaccine and now experience blah blah blah please call all 9's for you settlement.

Did you have COVID before ?

Not that I was ever aware of.

It was Pfizer and was one of the very first ones distributed as I got the first in late February in SC. I have another occupation in SC that allowed me to get mine sooner.

I am not anti vax...have had the flu shot every year for about 8 or 10 years now. I havent had covid that I know of although I did have to get tested once after an exposure. I work in retail and am constantly with the public and in and out of their cars. I wore masks when mandated by my employer, but we have been mask free for about 5 or 6 months. I dont even own a mask now.

I've literally never thought about getting the vaccine. Not one time have I considered it. Melissa and I have not downed it, but just didnt see the need for it.

Until day before yesterday. I have no idea why, but I woke up and was drinking coffee at the kitchen table before work and had a seriously bad feeling. No clue why, but the feeling hit me like a ton of bricks. All I could think of for the next hour or so is what would happen if I pick up a bad strain of covid and it shut me down during deer season. If it hit me hard and put me in a hospital in KS or MO etc or even no hospital, but quarantining in a hotel room. Not thinking of dying, cause I've never concerned myself with falling over dead. More worried about missing a couple weeks of season. Yeah I know it's goofy that I think this way, but I couldnt shake the feeling.

So yesterday morning I went and had the 1st shot of pfizer. No issues other than a sore arm. Cut grass yesterday and shot the bow last eve. It'll probably kill me or I might grow a 3rd eye, but I feel better about makiing the 8 straight weeks of season without a break. I'll update yall about the eye growth.

I told Melissa that I was going to get it and she said that she is not taking it. I said ok, I dont care one way or the other what anyone does :D

Andy Slavitt, a senior adviser to the White House's Covid team, on Thursday credited the Trump administration’s Operation Warp Speed for spurring the development of a Covid vaccine at an unprecedented pace.

“We’re grateful for the work that came before us and are doing the best we can to continue it and accelerate it,” Slavitt said on Fox News. “I would absolutely tip my hat. … The Trump administration made sure that we got in record time a vaccine up and out. That’s a great thing and it's something we should all be excited about.”

I did it for Trump! Thanks Mr. President for your hard work!
