Just a little dog update since some folks here helped us try to figure out what kinda mix ole Cooper might be. He looks about the same as when we got him three months ago at age three, but he's now bigger than our Corgi mix - and Rylee the Corgi can't keep up with him running anymore. Look at those legs! Cooper can sure cover some ground when he sees a chipmunk or one of the neighbors calves out in the pasture.
We think ( thanks to help from guys on this forum ) that Cooper is a Treeing Walker Coon hound mixed with a little Jack Russell or Norfolk terrier. Energy? Non-stop. Can't wait to see how big he gets - vet says he has six more months to grow, possibly. He already knows about half the 20+ tricks that Rylee can do so I know he's purty dern smart. True to form, the other day he tree'd a squirrel in our plum tree with Rylee right behind him.
