One Less Bear

A buddy of mine was after a little bear meat so I pointed him to an area I knew there to be a few and wouldn't mess up a deer hole. Not long after settling in, a good eatin' size bear fed through a hardwood bottom and offered a shot. One less, that's a good thing.

On a sidenote, I fooled around Monday and put a little meat in the freezer myself. It's been a good week here in North Georgia.

Congratulations!

If you hunted uphill you could ride down to the truck in the tub with the deer.

Is the tote the deer is in a purpose made(store bought) deal or something you put together?

Congratulations. two fine kills
I was just listening to someone talk about the jet sled. Looks slick

Took me about ten years to wear the bottom out of my last one. Finally had to break down and get a new one this year. I use mine for everything from covering up firewood, hauling gear into the Backcountry, as a lean to shelter to get out of the rain to sleding big bucks out of the mountains. They're handy...

Congrats! Those Cohutta woods look like a park compared to the thick nasty stuff over this way. Do they burn over there regularly?
