Our Mediator is in Heaven
Even now at God's right hand
An Advocate with the Father
Declared both God and man

He died to save lost sinners
God raised Him from the dead
And those who truly trust Him
Are accepted in His stead

His name is above all names
Jesus Christ our Lord above
He lives to make intercession
Those purchased by His Blood

Though Satan may accuse us
He was defeated at the Cross
Christ paid for all our sins
When he died for all the lost

His Blood is ever cleansing
His hands and nail scared feet
Forever give testimony
Of Salvation full complete

So want you trust this Savior
Who bled and died for you
He's now at God's right hand
An intercessor for you too

1 Timothy 2:5,6 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time"

Titus 2:13,14 "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works"

Colossians 2:13-15 "And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it"

Romans 8:31-34 "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us"

1 John 2:1,2 "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world"
