Panther Creek

Good day all! I hope to gain some insight in reference to Panther Creek. I plan on trying the area of it over close to the Tugaloo. Anyone have any experience over that way? Is it worth the drive down from Blackrock?

Was there a few weeks before stocking started and only caught a sucker. Stocked almost weekly but fished heavily by bait clunkers.

If you're after trophy chub, you're on the right track.
Try further north for trout.

There are BIG trout in Panther Creek if you know where to find them....

Went by panther creek yesterday and between the cans of corn, the power bait and the hooks and bobbers that litter the banks and trees it is pretty much fished out. At least the part that is accessible from Prather bridge rd was.
