Hey fellas. Signal up in the Colorado mountains was pretty weak, so I couldn't post any updates. We had a great week. Hiked around 20 miles in a few days. Saw around 45 or so mule deer, a few cows, and a couple bulls. Unfortunately, I was the only one to tag a muley. Really hoped my buddies would get a bull, but they were not cooperating. My muley was on day 5. He wasn't the biggest thing in the world, but after many close encounters, I was running out of time. He's my first, so I'll take it. It was cold and snowing and that made for a cool hunt. We left a day early because our heater broke and we woke up to single digit temps in our tent. No one wanted a repeat of that today. Beautiful country and I can't wait to do it again. Perhaps in better shape.
