Didnt have a specific feed tree to hunt Saturday morning on public so decided to take a break from the deer and stalk some pigs. This was the second group I attempted to stalk. This hog offered me a hard quartering away shot so I took it at 8 yards. After I shot I noticed a large portion of my arrow hanging out of the pig and immediately regretted taking the shot. However my worries was unfounded as she died less than 30 yards away in a switch cane thicket with a heart shot.
