Plotstart vs Lime

Anyone have any experience they can share regarding Plotstart vs spreading bulk Ag lime? At $48/ 2.5 gallon jug, supposed to be equivalent of 1 ton of lime, the price point looks attractive, if it works.

Have you used it on already growing perennial clover? Mine is looking really sparse and non-vigorous.

There is a reason all the big ag farmers use bulk ag lime.

It's calcium chloride it doesn't change pH, the only liquid applied product that works is topflow ca.

There are some articles from university extension offices questioning their merit if you google it.

I wasted my money on plotstart once. Not again.

I have used it. I could tell that it did make the plot look better. Not sure if it made the deer eat it more or not.
