We bought a 4h pig 3 weeks or so ago and waited on cooler weather to do the butchering. Got it knocked out and made some goodies with it. In addition to the normal cuts, we did ham, brats, bacon, and breakfast sausage. Nothing abnormal, but my first time doing anything with a domestic pig. Good eats in our household recently

She very matter of factly told me we were not eating Snout! I convinced her to let me when I said we would get two more pigs soon

Been so long since we raised hogs, I don't remember any specific recipes offhand. I do wish I had a quart of grandma's canned sausage right now.
