Not my largest but definitely my best deer as far as I’m concerned. Here’s a pic of him on the hoof.

Quick story behind the harvest. My home is on the land I hunt and at first light I woke up to see a beat-up limping 6 point looking towards a small food plot I planted, obviously fearful to go into it. Just stared longingly towards the plot for a minute or two before hanging his head and turning to go the other direction. Here's a pic I got of the 6 point that morning. Yellow circles marked fresh wounds he had.



Told my wife that morning I was going to do my best to be in the stand that afternoon as I was pretty sure a big buck was hanging around. Turned out it indeed was and when I pulled camera cards found I had a camera hit on it at the EXACT same time the spooked 6 point was looking into the plot.

Top to bottom, my 7 point, 232 pounds on certified scales. second, my Ladies best, 8 point, estimated 240 pounds+ (heavier than mine), third, my son`s 10, much heavier than ours. All killed within 500 yards of each other.
