Today was a good day.

I got to fish with Seeker on a Pretty lil Mountain Lake up in North Georgia where he has some property and boy did we lay into them. He has had some stellar days up there and I believe his record for catches in a day is 107 fish in one day there. (He's got a dang clicker so the numbers are legit......no flub here)

Anyway....we caught 56 bass with most of them being dinks but we did both stick one with shoulder pads towards the end of the day. My bass was about 4 1/2 and he's close to 4. Just beautiful mountain bass with great color and marking.

Here are a few pictures of the days adventures and I've got a killer gopro video uploading as we speak that shows the days adventure played out in high quality HD video. (It's got some super clear underwater shots too)

Thank you again Seeker for taking an ole wolly boogger like me fishing.

Cletus

Was there fluking involved?
Sure was…..they didn’t hit the fluke all that well during the morning hours but after lunch they started hammering it!

Baits that worked were the fluke….my baby doll jig….squarebill crankbait and ole seeker is deadly with a wacky-rigged trickworm….he was slap wearing them out with that rig!

Beautiful lake! Enjoyed the video and music.

That first landscape pic has been added to my work computer wallpaper folder. Excellent shots.

That one that seeker is holding would be trouble come spring next year. She has shoulders, but no hips right now. Spring would change that.

Jessica was a good choice. Just give it a few more months practice and you'll be getting shots that rival some of Hannon's. I know I've said that before, but each video gets a little closer. Soon you'll be swimming with them.

Yeah man….ole Seeker made a special request with that Allaman Bros. song. I figured since I was he’s guest, the least I could do was honor his song request. Plus……you can’t ever go wrong with that tune. It’s a great jam and I think it went well with the fishing footage.

The clarity of this water too provided some excellent underwater footage for sure…….I’m not sure I’m on the level of Doug Hannon just yet but I would like to go swimming with ‘em and capture some footage…..maybe one day!

Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!

O.K. folks, I'm here to set the record straight. I took the front of the boat the first part of the day and Cletus took it the second part of the day. Let me tell you folks, he "front ended" me pretty bad. That fluke bite just wore me out. He hardly let me catch any fish after lunch. Only on occasions would he let me catch one to keep me happy and not screaming to head to the dock. Of those 56, I might have caught six.

Cletus, I loved the video and thought the music was perfect for a fishing video. I especially liked the live releases filmed underwater and your still pictures look great.

Thanks for going with me and we'll have to do it again, with Hunter aboard.

Stay fishy my friend.

Great video. Was that a Tag in one of the big ones?
It sure was......I tried the scrape the scum off of it to read the number and it was either 003 or 883....I couldn't tell for sure. Seeker is going to ask around to find out more about that up there!!!

Good eye there man!

I noticed that too. It looked like the bass winked for the camera.

Looking at in detail I think it was a drop of water rolling down the lens that happen to cross its eye.

Thanks Bayou…..I had a blast fishing with seeker. #1….he’s a great guy. #2…..the lake and the surrounding mountains makes a beautiful setting to fish in!

Also……seeker is being very modest in saying that it was 50 to 6. It was more like an even split…..he caught a bunch of fish for sure….don’t let him sand-bag ya now!!!!

Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment Bayou!
