You've probably seen this, but I will post info on GON's list in case you did not. Below are some deer processors for Lamar & Monroe, but since you're in the Griffin area regularly, then I'll also include Spalding & Monroe counties. Since Crawford Cty. is so close to Monroe & also because Gadget uses the Silver Bullet cooler in Knoxville in Crawford Cty. (which he reported in the Bowhunting forum section's "reporting in . . ." thread in Post #90), then I'll include it in this post below, too.
For those who did not know this, the GON magazine has put their GON 2008 Deer Coolers List for each Georgia County on their web site which is usually only published in their September issue each year. Not sure how up to date it is since the this is so dynamic where deer processor lists change each year with some news ones that open & existing ones sometimes close. Therefore, call & verify before you go to them to save yourself a trip. Here's the web link for it below:
huckaby's is great i have to drive a little ways but its worth it, they charge per weight with a max of 40 lbs, and they vaccuum seal all cuts, then the ground is put into one lb bags.
they are on the list posted above.
there is also one close to my house that does a good job called done rite on bucksnort rd behind buckners. which is at 75 on exit 201 hwy 36.
x1 for outlaws i just picked a deer up from there today, you might have to call before going to get somebody there, but they usually show up in a couple of minutes
If you happen to wind up using Thomas Deer Cooler in Bolingbroke, ask him about the deer jerky. He has a guy that can take a whole deer and bring you back some of the best jerky you ever put in your mouth.
DO NOT use TJ's... they were good till the indians got them and now there suckin... wanted $50 to gut skin and hang... i use the hickmans on the southside of barnesville...
