This year, the Pumpkin Shoot is a fundraiser to support two local men dealing with severe health issues and inability to work. The event will be held October 22, 2022 at the Pavilion at 5701 White Oak Road from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m..
The event will feature a 15 target, 3D archery course that will be spectator friendly. Feel free to drop by and watch if you are interested in learning more about archery. This will be a casual start, so archers can show up any time between 10 a.m.and 2 p.m.. To register and shoot. Entry fee is $25. Young children can enjoy a fun archery game for free.
A local chef is preparing a meal featuring chili, rice and bread, which will be available for purchase for $10. Meal tickets are available for advance purchase. Donations are welcome.
The two men are that you are supporting are Jim DiArenzo - Deputy with Columbia County Sheriffs Office, and Olin Price - well known in local archery community.
