Sad folks would dump them instead of just taking them to the shelter or sitting in walmart parking lot. I doubt they would have been hard to find homes for.

Good on you. I found a young beagle shivering under my truck at Clybel a few years ago. On a hunch I drove around and found some rabbit hunters that were looking for her after she got lost in the rain and fog.
