I don't knap much any more. My hands have gone to crap and hurt like the dickens when I do.

I know what you mean. I had to give up flintknapping about 11 years ago. I wish I had made up about 100 knives and a wheelbar full of points before I had to give it up.

Yep. Unfortunately, my favorite stuff to knap is local quartzite and rhyolite.
