Just rode to swamp on my farm, 6-8 ducks got up on creek that runs thru. They were dark with what appeared to be a white patch on there tail, all looked the same.Any ideas what they were?

They were most likely Wood Ducks or Black Bellied Whistling Ducks..

Not wood ducks, know them well as that is by far the most common duck we have, i'll go with the bbwd. Thanks.
