I felt the need to escape. Luckily, my friends have a cabin in the Murphy, NC area so I called in favors, requests, and bargains and secured it for the weekend. Didn't do much picture taking, but the French onion soup and Reuben at Parsons Irish Pub was absolutely perfect. Tried a few new beers while I was in there.
For my final night I secured provisions at Ingles and made steak tips, potatoes, mushrooms and some good, buttery rosemary bread. Whisky was kept within reach at all times.
