Rabun County dispersed camping.

Got to spend some time camping last weekend in Rabun County. Found a nice little spot next to a creek and never saw another person, which is good since I was on Public Land. It was raining some, but not too bad and it felt like I was camping in the clouds, since most of the time I was in the clouds. The slick, somewhat rough trails probably played a part in keeping the area to myself. I did run into a couple of jeeps on the trail, we rode together for about 10 miles of trails until one of the Jeeps was having issues and they turned back. It always amazes me how easy it is to get away from the crowds in the Chattahoochee NF when you have a capable vehicle, there are still enough trails that discourage many people with less capable vehicles. I even got to run my "fireplace" for a little while before it got too hot in the camper.
