Last spring I bought a neighboring piece of property that was kind of notched in to ours. The executor of the estate didn’t want to mess with cleaning out the old storage buildings on the property so he offered me a discounted price to buy as is. I had quickly looked in them and it just looked liked 60 years of junk that needed tossed. Yesterday we finally got around to cleaning out the buildings and I see what looks like the end of a gun case. I was surprised to find that there was a gun in it when I pulled the case from the stack of stuff. All it says is Remington arms co, Ilion NY on the barrel. It looks similar to pictures of Remington rolling blocks i can find on line but I don’t see any with a side lever like this. It is small bore probably .22 too .25 caliber. Anyone know what this is?
