Live and freshly dead bluebacks on the bottom in 15 feet of water off a point in a creekback. Don't forget to pray. Other anglers all around us, but we were bringing home the bacon. 38 lbs total.

Nice. I've never caught that many on one trip. Flat heads are normally a bonus fish for me.

It was that way for me until this year when I've been focusing on creek backs all month with live bait.
