Any luck this summer at Sandy Creek or Ft. Yargo ??

Could someone please suggest as to which of these (S Creek or Yargo) might be the best option - with bank (or dock fishing)?? Rare day off today, had to ask if someone might advise !! also, would the best bait be a plastic creature, live worm, spinner, plug.. or even a Johnson’s Silver Minnow ….?

Lots of bank fishing available at Yargo.
Ive done the best there with a jig&pig.

If I could ask.. How long do you like your rod to throw that? M or MH ?? and 8lb line or stronger..?

I mainly use a 7' MH baitcaster with 10lb test. Yargo has quite a bit of brush/fallen trees in the water right off the banks so dont have to throw far.

No not completely. It was lowered WAY down for some work to be done. If Im not mistaken, its back up now.

Did you make it out? How was the fishing? Thinking of trying Yargo tomorrow.
