Savage Axis ii Precision

Picked up said rifle in 6.5CM. 10 rd mag. Realized 10 rd mag says 308.

Is this okay/proper or did they package incorrect mag?

Should work fine, but shuck a few thru it and see...

My Axis .350L uses .223 mags according to Savage, when I ordered spares.

Savage uses the same mags for different calibers. A 308 mag will also work on 243,6.5 CM, 260.

Same goes for 223 marked mags will work on 300BO, 22, 204, 20Practical/20Tactical.
