Scope suggestions for a tikka t3x lite 308

Just recently acquired a stainless tikka t3x in 308. Anyone have a scope that they would recommend? Leaning towards the leupold vx3 hd 2.5-8x36. Thanks!

Mine has a Sig Sauer Whiskey 3 3X9x40. I have zero complaints.

As much as I want to buy American, I like the Accupoint too(Japan). Triangle for close in, dots for long range. No fooling with the brightness knob. The fiber optic gets brighter as the sun rises, and the tritium is there after sunset.

2.5-12x42 is nice.
3-9 is cheaper, lighter and 1" rings; most others 30mm

Check the model number in specs against Trijicon.com. Confirm Mil Dot or MOA. DVOR peeps are clerks. And confirm the ship date is Ok.

The 2.5-8 Leupold would be great; my Tikka .308 has a 3.5-10 VX3HD and I love it. You would have to pay double to get appreciably better glass.

Jr’s Tikka .308 wears one of them and will for many years.

I have the same in 7-08. Go with the higher power leupold. That rifle will reach out and touch em. I love a 150 grain bullet. You will have a deer killer.
