Self-made safety line and prussic knot - need help finding best outlet for supplies

Is there any concern regarding squirrels or other rodents chewing on life lines that are left in the words throughout the season?

Careful with some of those presewn prusiks. The line is rated fine, but the stitching is not. It's probably fine for constant tension setups like a linemans rope. But I'd imagine it won't arrest a fall if you have any sort of free fall of a over a foot.
