Septic drain question

What's up!?

My current tank/field was perfect for 20 yrs. Had issues and pulled the lid. Full tank to the top. Drain field no good. Put in a new on off the same tank 5 yrs ago and working like it should.

I had my washer disconnected from that line too. Washing powders, bleach tablets and the like will kill the good enzymes that you need. Draining grease down the drain will clog it too.

^ that’s funny right there ?
Dang wimmens ! If it ain’t condoms that get your tank, it’s tampons.

Add some bacon grease and a hand full of cigarette butts to the mix and your guaranteed to have to clean the grease trap out in the front of the tank.

Flushable wipes.

Well they say flushable .

They are flushable allright, but when city folk move to the country they don't realize at first that what goes down the drain doesn't leave the property unless it is a liquid. Flushable wipes are awfuly difficult to liquify. LOL
