Sighting in with frangeable????????

A while back I bought a s&w .38 bodyguard with a red dot sight. Couldn't find any ammo but frangeable at the time.ive since found a couple boxes.ive never shot the gun.i was wondering if there will be any difference if I use up the frangeable ammo sighting it and save most of my good stuff.

**** I just noticed the frange is light. 100gr.. so probably useless to sight with.except maybe a few for left to right purposes.

158 gr and 770fps at muzzle,758 at 25yds
Frange is 100gr 1150 at muzz

What range? Sighting in at 10, 15, 25 yds it will be pretty negligible...at 100 yds, yeah material...

In a handgun, not a lot of difference.

At self defense distance and the short barrel and sight radius, it really won’t make much difference.

^^^ This. And you might want to consider whether or not to keep a magazine of frangible rounds to use inside your home if you have family and thin walls. Some think so some not.
