Slow day on notchaway

Beats the heck outs work though A lot lower than I like to see, caught a good mess for tonight or Sunday evening. 30 years of roamin notchaway. Didn’t get one of the swimmin hole. Nothing left but faded memories and a old rotten rope and a rather large reptile. Anyway this is one of my honey holes that I’m thankful for.

It’s fixin to get fun trying to irrigate. Another week if it don’t rain its gonna be ugly. At least we’ve got some decent rain chances coming up

And thankful to have had a granddaddy to have raised me on the creek and show me the way. Last little bit of time I’ll have as we prepare for Cason Boones arrival in the next couple of weeks. Mama show ain’t happy I got to slip off and didn’t get to go lol.

I know my water bill will be high.
Been watering for 7 out of 10 days.

And... Even though it went on my lawn, I still get charged extra for sewage.

Rode by the Turtle Hole a few days ago and seen some good ones with the water low. To dang hot to set a peg.

I think that it is. There`s another on Kiokee Creek and Chickasawhatchee Creek that I think are weirs too.

I know of one on pachitla not too far from this one on Notchaway. And a couple on down Notchaway in baker county. Some of the rocks they moved amazes me, it’s beyond me how they would have moved them

yes sir it is,looked a lot better before hurricane Michael. Hard to believe that 20 years ago you could run a boat for a couple miles and not have to cross a log
