Small game dog question

I have a Boykin/Lab mix. I’ve been tracking deer with him in South Georgia and North Florida for 1 1/2 deer seasons. For the most part, he looks like a 25 lb. black lab. Does anyone know of a breed that would be similar to a 25-30 lb. lab? I can’t come up with one.
