Small game regulations

I live in SC but hunt a lot in Georgia. I know in both states, there is federal regulations on plugged guns for dove and migratory birds. In SC, there are no restrictions on plugged guns for other small game. For some reason, I thought in Georgia you had to plug your shotguns for rabbit. I thought I had read that somewhere at one time. I can not find it in the regulations now. Is there a law for plugged guns for small game? Thanks.

Turkey & migratory birds require plug.
Straight from the regulations, page 8...you should actually read them before posting.

• Plugged Shotguns: For hunting migratory
game birds, shotguns shall be limited
to a capacity of not more than 3 shells in
the magazine and chamber combined. If a
plug is necessary to so limit the capacity,
the plug shall be of 1 piece and incapable
of being removed from the loading end of
the magazine.

Turkey
Shotguns with No. 2 or smaller shot, any
muzzleloading firearm, any air rifle of at
least .30 caliber or air bow utilizing unignited
compressed gas or air. Hunters are not required
to plug shotguns for turkey.

Not sure when it was changed , but I got a ticket for no plug several years ago turkey hunting . Game laws are changed so much it’s really hard to keep up with
Agreed. I haven't been ticketed but have had my shotgun checked for capacity while turkey hunting several years ago.
