I have been fishing KC Reef like everyone else with a boat the past Few Weekends

Doing ok on the sheepshead, I got a new personal record at 23 inches (about 9 lbs), Got some decent sized black drum, and we have been releasing the Red Drum , Red Snapper and short Black sea bass.

I have switched to using a dropper loop rig with a long space, about 18 inches, from swivel to hook (hook is on about a 6 in dropper loop and then another 18 or so inches to the weight. leader is 20 lbs flouro on light rods. It seems to work better for me than the carolina rigs. I can bounce the weight on the bottom and bait is right at desired height off the bottom with no swivel or weigt the Spades can see1.jpg2.jpg3.jpg4.jpg5.jpg6.jpg

Good job Rob! Nice to see someone is at least able to get out fishing. :)

That's not your boat is it?

I joined Freedom Boat Club and am loving it, I Richmond hill they have center consoles from 20 -24 ft a great Skiff with a powerpole and a couple of boats set up for river cruising .

For me it is great!!
