Something a little different

So for a 15 years I have been handgun hunting for deer. 2 years ago I decided to pattern a t/c encore 410 barrel with tss just to see how it did. Amazingly it was a deadly pattern out to about 25 yards, so I decided to kill a turkey with it.
I wasn’t brave enough to start the seasons with it so I waited until I had 1 tag left, then hunted with that pistol for the last one with no luck.
Well this year I did the same, but called this bird in to 18 yards on the first hunt with the pistol. It was a very exciting hunt and I believe I will have to do it again!

Great job! Several years ago I killed my first gobbler with a Contender handgun, 14" 410 barrel with factory choke, using Winchester 3" #6 410 shells, 15 yards. Been wanting to try some TSS but haven't gotten around to it. Would be the best way to go I think.

well it is a 410, so I took that to mean I could. Don’t think shooting a 357 or something like that would be legal, but since it is a shotgun shell that is fired I assumed it would be legal.
