Spring bloom- fall food

Besides redbud trees , what other plants do y’all mark in spring for hunting near in the fall?
The purple redbud bloom is easy to spot and the deer around my stand tear up the big , heart shape leaves in the fall. As soon as they turn yellow and start to fall. Last only a few days, once they wilt they won’t touch em .

Crab apples have always been a favorite during bow season. If they ain’t real bitter.
I’m telling ya, these redbud leaves are a magnet for a few days in early November.
Look for the purple blooms on these small trees now.1EF3831B-ED97-42A3-AD9C-2AF60DB7ACDD.jpeg

Persimmon Trees around here. Seem to be the best wild fruit tree.
I was clearing some trees from around the pond and noticed some persimmons on the ground. That is when I realized I screwed up, accidentally cut down a persimmon tree within 20 feet of my food plot. Still beating myself up over it.
