Anybody been doing any catching around st cats?

Saturday we kept 6 Trout and a surprise Spanish. Caught several throwback trout, no Reds or Flounder found.

Sunday we kept 4 whiting and 1 trout. We didn't fish long Sunday, the wife wanted to spend her day at the beach.

Whiting were caught off the north end of St. Cats (beach fishing) on cut squid. Trout and Spanish were all caught on Artificials ( Zman trout trick and Gulp shrimp) under a popping cork.

Thanks, were yall fishing back in the creeks or out around the sound for trout and reds?

Both. We fished Johnson's Creek (between 125 - 127), Cattle Pen and Walburg (St Cats Dock to St. Cats Sound) The key was finding good structure and clean water.
