St. Simons pier vs Jekyll Island

Which of the two is better to fish from? I’m hoping to do some surf fishing this fall. I’ve been to Jekyll a couple of times but haven’t been to St. Simons.

SSI pier seems to have a little less current to me than the Jekyll pier.
