Just curious, why would you want to shoot high dollar steel shot for doves ??
Since steel is lighter than lead, there are more pellets in a shell with the same shot size and same weight.Just curious, why would you want to shoot high dollar steel shot for doves ??
It’s definitely not better than lead in any other way, besides more pellets in it.Steel will also bounce off a bird and or not penetrate as good= more cripples.
There could be an argument for high velocity helping with leads. There is no valid argument for requiring non-toxic shot on a dove field. Stick with small shot and be conservative with range.
