Stickbow bear

Man, that makes sense to me. from my last year of studying bears for the season I learned that a very small fraction of bears can carry the pathogen that causes trichonosis. I have heard it's quite debilitating. Have to cook the bear meat through and through, according to my sources.
We did cook it well. Once I had burgers, once a roast. Both times I was down for a whole day, unable to make it out hunting.

So how do you “pick a spot” on a bear? I imagine in low light they would look like a mass of black fur.

Poor bear, lost & stuck on Barrett parkway! I know how he feels. At traffics thickern hair on a dog's back! Any bear that'd leave the mountains to go into town should be shot because he must be stark raving mad!
Asheville, NC is slap full of bears. Like, see them every day thick.
