Stickman 10' Ti2 Evil Black

I took the rod to the mountains for a quick three day trip. Really is a
perfect rod for the larger mtn creek where I predominantly fish. I caught
many wild fish high sticking and finished the day fishing Yellow Sallies
and caught about 8 fish on a dry fly. The only downside, I can see in
a couple tight confines, a 20" fish would be more difficult to land.
The pic is of a 16" Wild Brown landed with ease. This rod is not "noodly"
and cast a dry with amazing accuracy and ease. I did catch more
small fish than usual because I was able to detect the slightest "tap".
I should have bought the rod years ago.

I met a younger experienced fly fishing person up on the mountain.
He had several quesitons about the creek and how I fished it. He saw
my 10' rod and made the comment about how he preferred fishing
with dry's. I told him how well it threw the Yellow Sallies and had
him give it a try. He was amazed how well it cast. He said he would
still prefer his rod for dry fly fishing but agreed it was the perfect rod
to do both on that stream.

I'm liking the 10' rods more and more all the time. I've got a Grey's GR80 10' 3wt that I use a lot.

Nice brown, btw!

I was really shocked how much I liked the Stickman 2wt. I was expecting more of a noodle and certainly did not expect the dry fly capability. My 10' 3wt will cast a dry but not with such accuracy. I will switch back to the 3wt for the Fall Browns though.
